About Me
When my first baby was born, I was living far away from family and completely unprepared for how challenging breastfeeding could be. Exhausted and overwhelmed, I might have given up completely if a friend hadn’t stepped in to support me. With her help, I was able to build my confidence, feed my baby, and feel cared for during this vulnerable time.
Even though we lost touch, my friend’s support enabled me to overcome challenges and have long, meaningful breastfeeding relationships with each of my three children.
She helped me to realize the impact that one person could have on supporting a healthy breastfeeding relationship. When my youngest child weaned, I promised myself I would one day offer that same support to others. Now, over two decades later, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
My personal experience, combined with the rigorous training required to become an IBCLC, allows me to support families through both the practical and emotional aspects of feeding.
While I appreciate the irreplaceable benefits of breastfeeding, I also understand that feeding decisions are deeply personal. Whether you breastfeed, pump, use formula, or do a combination, I am here to support you with compassionate, individualized care.
